Role: Production Engineer
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00-13:00 Friday
Salary: between £43,000 and £47,000 pa DOE
Are you proactive and enjoy improving how products are built? We’re looking for a Production Engineer to implement, maintain and improve production processes, introduce new technologies, and act as the key link between Production and Engineering to maximise efficiency.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks; improve flow, takt and line balancing.
- Introduce new processes, products and technology to boost productivity and quality.
- Deliver VA/VE material and labour savings.
- Support prototype/proof-build and NPI activity.
- Create/maintain build instructions, SOPs, process control docs and databases; troubleshoot manufacturing issues cross‑functionally.
- Keep Health & Safety as the #1 priority and ensure environmental/quality compliance.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years in a similar manufacturing/production engineering role.
- Lean + VA/VE knowledge; time/method study experience; strong problem‑solving.
- Familiar with assembly, steel fabrication, electrical & hydraulic components; able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Confident communicator; organised and able to manage priorities.
- HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) (degree desirable)
