Role: Pre Delivery Inspection Engineer 

Location: Based at Warrington (plus travel to other Dennis Eagle / Terberg sites)

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 06:00 - 14:30 

 

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality assurance? We are seeking a PDI Inspector to join our manufacturing quality team at Warwick. In this role, you will ensure that finished vehicles meet customer requirements and undergo thorough testing. Your responsibilities will include performing in-process quality audits, verifying compliance with standards, and recording build criteria. You will also be tasked with identifying and correcting any faults or discrepancies before vehicles are passed to sales.

Flexibility and teamwork are essential, as you will collaborate with various departments to meet delivery deadlines and drive continuous improvement. If you are ready to take ownership of your role and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality, we would love to hear from you!

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet customer specifications
  • Identify and resolve faults before vehicles are released
  • Log and analyse quality data to support continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with workshop teams and travel to other sites as needed
  • Maintain high standards of safety and compliance

What You’ll Need:

  • Mechanical qualifications and hands-on vehicle knowledge
  • Experience with HGVs, hydraulics, and inspection procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • HGV driving licence (essential)
  • A team player with a “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
